For a one-hour session: $55.

What to Expect After Booking a Tutoring Session

Before the Session: When booking a session, we will ask for the following information:

  • Parent’s Email: This will be used to send payment details and post-session insights about the student's progress.

  • Email for the Zoom Link: This ensures the student has direct access to the session.

  • Materials to Cover: We ask that you send images or PDFs of the specific topics or problems you want addressed during the session. Be thoughtful in preparing your materials—having more prepared than you think will fill the hour is always a good idea. If we finish your questions early, don’t worry! Our tutors will continue working with the student on areas of difficulty.

During the Session: The session will start with quick introductions. We aim to make every session personal and engaging, even though tutoring can sometimes feel challenging. Our tutors strive to create a comfortable learning environment while making the material as simple and understandable as possible.

For the session itself:

  • Interactive Screen Sharing: The tutor will share their screen using an iPad, allowing students to see a clear, full-screen view of the work being done. This helps us explain concepts efficiently and effectively.

  • Personalized Guidance: The tutor will have the student’s submitted questions or materials pulled up on another device, ensuring we stay organized. We’ll work through each question carefully and take extra time where it’s needed.

Our goal is to maximize learning and build confidence, all while breaking down complex topics into manageable and clear explanations.

After the Session: Once the session is complete, two follow-up emails will be sent:

  1. Parent Email: This will include an overview of how the student performed, their progress, and recommendations for what they should work on moving forward.

  2. Parent and Student Email: This will contain all the notes and work completed during the session, taken directly from the tutor’s iPad.

By following this process, we ensure a seamless and productive experience for students and their families.
